A BETTER PET!

- By Catherine Lamb

A LOW-cost pet behaviour advice service has been launched to support struggling pet owners.

The new, affordable service from Blue Cross will help owners experiencing any kind of behaviour or training issues, from poor recall to aggression.

Help involves a one-to-one session, as well as a tailor-made behaviour plan.

The service is available across the UK by video call and phone. Plus, dog owners can visit the charity’s centre in Burford, Oxon, for help.

Thomas Rainbow, rehabilitation trainer for the new service said: “Pets are part of the family and our relationship with them should be enjoyable, but anyone can face challenges. We offer friendly support and advice to any owner who needs a helping paw.”

Bookings with a behaviourist will require a referral from your vet as many health conditions can affect a pet’s behaviour. The animal charity will do this on your behalf.

Behaviour sessions are £59, and training sessions £39. To find out more, visit bluecross.org.uk
