BAKE Off has been hit by a ratings slump with more than three million of us switching off in just two years.
Around 5.8million viewers tuned in to see medical researcher Syabira Yusoff win the trophy in Tuesday night’s final on Channel 4.
Last year 7.3million watched Italian engineer Giuseppe Dell’Anno win, while 9.2million saw Peter Sawkins make TV history as the youngest baker to win in 2020 at the age of 20.
