Expect Hill start in Coral Hurdle

CONSTITUTION HILL will make his return in Ascot’s Coral Hurdle on Saturday after heavy rain turned the going at the royal racecourse to ‘good to soft’.

Nicky Henderson (right) had warned the 5-4 Champion Hurdle favourite would miss his comeback in the event of unsuitably fast ground.

But the Seven Barrows trainer said: “God willing, he’s all set to go for Saturday. “We’re all right now – as long as ‘good to firm’ doesn’t come into it.”
