Trolls take aim at Camavinga

- ■ by JACQUE TALBOT

EDUARDO Camavinga has been subjected to vile racist abuse after inadvertently causing the injury which ruled France team-mate Christopher Nkunku out of the World Cup.

Chelsea target Nkunku suffered knee damage in training following a challenge from Camavinga.

RB Leipzig striker Nkunku’s spot was taken by Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani. It comes two days after France boss Didier Deschamps called up Marcus Thuram as the 26th and final player to the side.

The Borussia Monchengladbach forward is the son of former France defender Lilian Thuram, the defender who played alongside Deschamps in the side which won the 1998 World Cup.

There is no place for Anthony Martial while PSG centre-back Presnel Kimpembe was a late pull-out and had been replaced by Monaco’s uncapped defender Axel Disasi.
