MORE than a quarter of Brits will watch the World Cup at home – because they think pubs are too rowdy and expensive.

A survey by Toshiba TV also found 43% of those planning to stay indoors will invite friends and family to watch matches.

A total of 28% of them do not want to leave the comfort of their own home while 14% said it was too cold outside to venture to the pub.
