Quiz banks on actors
A SOAP edition of The Weakest Link is set to air on tonight’s Children In Need.
Romesh Ranganathan will have four famous contestants for the special. And to make it extra competitive they’re all from different soaps. They are Max Bowden from
EastEnders, Corrie’s Antony Cotton and Emmerdale star Chris Bisson. Completing the line-up is Kirsty-Leigh Porter from Hollyoaks.
They’re all taking part to raise muchneeded cash for Children In Need.
A show insider said: “It’s the ultimate battle of the soaps. Contestants always feel the pressure on The Weakest Link, but this edition will be even more competitive. “They’re each representing their soap, so there’s a lot at stake.”
Children In Need bosses reckon the special will be must-see TV and they are hoping it will help boost donations during the three-hour fundraiser.
The Weakest Link was revived for Children In Need in 2017. Since then it has returned for a full series.
Romesh said: “It’s a fun show and the response has been amazing.”
