Keegan perm a winner
PERMS are back in fashion with one-in-four blokes wanting to copy Kevin Keegan’s famous hairdo.
The Newcastle United icon’s barnet was among the top 10 footie haircuts fellas “desire” the most, in a poll by five-a-side footie operator Powerleague.
But the Keegan perm could not outdo the Jack Grealish undercut – complete with Alice band – which came top.
A third of blokes said they dreamt of having one like the Three Lions star.
And 40% of those quizzed admitted copying a famous footballer’s hairstyle.
Gazza’s bleached blond locks came second in the poll, followed by Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s man bun.
David Seaman’s ponytail and Beckham’s curtains were also on the list.
Sheldon Edwards, of HD Cutz – who does many of the England stars’ hairdos – said: “I know the confidence that a fresh haircut can bring to a player.”
