EIGHT in 10 workers exaggerate their “phoning in sick” voice in case their boss does not believe they are ill, says a study.

And many speak differently while at a job interview or talking romantically to a partner.

Nearly half have let “private” voices slip out in public, says the poll by lozenge brand Jakemans.
