Parcel pirates misery

ALMOST a third of us have had a parcel go missing from outside our home.

Those under 34 are most likely to have been hit by “parcel pirates” with 38% affected.

And it happens to men more often than women, a poll for SimpliSafe found.

However, 79% of over55s have never had a parcel stolen.

SimpliSafe’s Jonathan Wall said: “The number of parcels that get delivered increases in the run-up to the festive season.

“The statistics from the survey are concerning, especially if around 19million people could be a victim of parcel theft.”
