TYSON FLABBY
Gypsy King cool with porky ‘dad bod’ look
BOXING champ Tyson Fury has boasted that he is happy with his flabby “dad bod” physique.
The undefeated heavyweight fighter – who has six kids – doesn’t care if he is a bit saggy and not ripped like other fighters.
Tyson, 34, said: “The thing is, I’ve never been bothered about how I appear, or how people perceive my image. Some fighters fuss over their style. I love my dad bod.” Tyson said some rivals are more like “male models than warriors”. The champ, set to defend his WBC title against Derek Chisora in London on December 3, added: “When people imagine a heavyweight champion of the world, they usually picture a cut, athleticlooking dude.
“They never consider a person who looks like me, which is a mistake because The Gypsy King can fight like an animal.”
In his new book, Gloves Off, Tyson admitted he might have appeared “slow, clumsy and horrible from a distance”.
He added: “But after 30 seconds close up, whoever was trapped in the ring with me usually uncovered a very unpleasant truth: going against The Gypsy King is like trying to carry a two-ton weight to the summit of Everest.”
