Wheel misery

-

DRIVERS spend on average 86 hours a year sitting behind the wheel in rush hour traffic.

Commuters get stuck in jams for 33% of their morning journeys and around 40% of their evening drives home.

Data analysed from TomTom’s Traffic Index, by Bristol Street Motors, looked at congestion levels across the country. Londoners spend twice as long sat in jams on their way to and from work as motorists in Preston.
