Race risk on home

BLACK families who face discrimination are at more risk of homelessness.

The threat is nearly 50% higher than that for a typical white-led household, researchers at Heriot-Watt University found.

Shelter chief Polly Neate said: “The direct link between homelessness and racial discrimination cannot be ignored.”
