UNTANGLING fairy lights, making decent sprouts and wrapping presents are among the hardest things to master at Christmas.
But working out what gifts to buy for family members topped the seasonal stress triggers in a poll of 2,000 Brits by Tesco.
Faking enthusiasm for a gift you don’t like and getting the timings of the Christmas dinner spot-on also made the top 50 list.
Alessandra Bellini, from the supermarket, said: “Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year for many, but that’s not to say that people couldn’t do with an extra little help now and then.”
The study also found that a third of people will be staying home and hosting more often due to the current economic climate.
