SHOPPERS often regret costly impulse buys made on Black Friday.

Many Brits are trying to bag the best bargains as the cost-of-living crisis bites.

To avoid getting into bother, a report by consumer watchdog Which? advises: “Work out what you need or want to buy and how much you are prepared to spend before you start shopping.”

Reena Sewraz, Which? Money Expert, added: “On Black Friday and Cyber Monday take time to identify the products you want.

“Also check that the ‘deal’ you’re seeing represents a genuine saving.”
