Friend fell for lag’s life story

MY friend writes to a prisoner in America. She thinks he is going to get out and marry her. I keep telling her that he’s there for life, but she won’t have it.

She’s even talked about selling her flat in order to raise cash for better lawyers. Sometimes she loses her rag and screams at me for being smug. I’m married and she’s not, but how is this my fault?
