Minister coke jibe

A MINISTER shocked top cops by joking about Michael Gove getting “excited” about cocaine.

Chris Philp told a Crimestoppers dinner of a recent tip-off to the charity’s hotline about a £200million shipment of cocaine in a lorry.

He quipped: “Michael Gove was quite excited about that.” When his remark provoked gasps, the crime minister asked: “What? Too much?”

Mr Gove previously held his hands up to taking cocaine in the past.
