Steamy couples cut cost

SAVVY homeowners are cutting bills by getting frisky with a partner.

Three in 10 are showering with their other half to save money.

Other methods include putting all the kids in together and washing less regularly.

The average adult spends a swift six minutes getting clean and more than half switch off the water flow while they wash their hair or body, a poll for Triton Showers found.

Ashley Cooper, of the firm, said: “We are all feeling the effect of the economic climate and are going to great lengths in a bid to keep household bills down.”
