Pete still up in the clouds...

-

HE used to be addicted to hard

drugs but now Pete Doherty’s

addicted to weather reports.

In fact the notorious rocker is planning to write a new Libertines song inspired by his fave TV weathermen. Listing his favourite personalities Doherty shared: “Everton Fox does the weather on Al Jazeera – he’s great. He’s got the human touch. Thomasz Schafernaker on BBC – he’s good. Great name, great weather pundit.” “Do you remember the song – John Kettley is a weatherman, a weather man, a weather man...’?

“I want to do an updated version. ‘Thomasz Schafernaker, Thomasz Shcafernaker, Thomasz Schafernaker and Everton Fox.’

“Everton Fox, come on, you’re never going to forget that name are you?” But there is one weather channel that won’t be featuring in his song.

Doherty added: “On Sky, you don’t get that personal touch. They have this globe that spins, it keeps spinning and it gives you the weather – not just for today or tomorrow, but for the next three days. “And so for four or five minutes, you’re watching this globe,

just kind of being hypnotised. And you don’t get those four or five minutes back in your life. “And you can’t possibly remember all the weather for the four or five days, you know what I mean?”

And this is him when he doesn’t use drugs!
