50 DRONES UP SWANNY RIVER
FIFTY drones fell out of the sky and plunged into a river during a display.
The AI-controlled bots were drawing festive images of Santa Claus and other Christmas scenes using light when the mishap occurred.
Authorities in Perth, Western Australia, said 50 of the 500 drones crashed into the Swan River at a cost of £56,000 because of “technical issues”.
Mayor Basil Zempilas said there was no risk to the public but the show “fell short of expectations”.
