BLAKE’S BRO IN DRUGS TRAGEDY
THE brother of tragic Amy Winehouse’s former husband died of a heroin overdose, an inquest heard.
Freddy Civil, the younger sibling of Blake Fielder-Civil, was found face down in just his underpants in a B&B on April 26 last year.
The 27-year-old had checked into the hotel in Leeds after fleeing a mental health hospital where he had been held since 2018. A pathologist told jurors he had “fatal levels of morphine” in his body from injecting heroin. He had choked on his own vomit.
Blake, who split from Amy before her death from alcohol poisoning in 2011, attended the hearing at Wakefield Coroner’s Court.
The inquest continues.
