Hacker pop at William website
PRINCE William is feared to have been targeted by Pro-Putin Russian hackers who want to stop the UK supporting Ukraine.
The Prince of Wales’ website was reportedly attacked early yesterday by Kremlin-supporting group Killnet, who overwhelm servers with bogus requests sent from bots.
It was quickly back online but appeared to be putting in extra measures for its secure connections.
William and Kate have voiced public support for Ukraine with president Volodymyr Zelensky personally thanking them for their backing.
Killnet has also vowed that “all medical institutions, Government services and online services” could soon be attacked too.
The hacking group prides itself on waging an internet war against the West and even tried to take down the Eurovision song contest in May, but their bid was thwarted by Italian police.
Buckingham Palace was contacted for comment.
