GHOST LOST & HOUND

A DOG-LOVER has been reunited with his £5,000 pet which was stolen when he collapsed in the street.

Joel Banks, 33, was being stretchered into an ambulance when two crooks fled with the Staffordshire bull terrier cross, called Ghost.

But chuffed Joel has got his beloved pal back after a man who bought him in a pub for just £120 realised it belonged to him.

Joel, of Catford, southeast London, said: “After seeing in the news about Ghost, he contacted us to arrange a collection as he wanted to reunite him with me.” He added: “The exchange was perfect and Ghost is now safe and sound at home.”
