CHRISTMAS pud could be heading for extinction.

One in five of us thinks the festive staple is on its way out – and many say it won’t be on the menu in just three years.

A poll found a third of us won’t serve one this year, and almost half of 16-26-year-olds say they don’t like it.

But Claire Hughes of Sainsbury’s said: “Many of those who have written it off have never tried it!”
