FUNNY LOOK FOR BRITS

WITH less than three months to go, the BRIT Awards have unveiled the design for the 2023 trophy.

Nigerian-born London artist Slawn, known for his canvases of caricature-like pop figures, is behind the unusual clown-faced gongs with removed helmets.

He said: “I wanted to design an award that had a sense of refinement and playfulness at the same time.

The BRITs take place on February 11.
