Michi’s in it for money
SPRINGWATCH presenter Michaela Strachan said a family ‘catastrophe’ as a child drove her to ensure she was never financially dependent on anyone else.
Michaela, 56, took on part-time work including dancing on a bar like in the film Coyote Ugly after her father’s lost job sent the family into a cash crisis.
She told Kirsty Gallacher in the podcast Give Us Your Goals: “While at college, my family lost all of our finances and were in a desperate state.
“I had to work and contribute. My ultimate goal because of that has been to always be able to support myself.”
