Kids’ data plea

A CALL has been made for bereaved parents to have access to their child’s social media activity to help shed light on their deaths.

Baroness Beeban Kidron wants a change to the Online Safety Bill meaning tech firms would have to supply data. It comes after the death of 14-year-old Molly Russell.

Baroness Kidron said: “It is inhuman to force parents to beg for information and wait years for the truth.”
