Denise answers the Call
CORRIE legend Denise Black has joined the cast of Call The Midwife.
She will play a ruthless landlady in this year’s festive special.
An insider said: “Denise’s character is involved in a heartbreaking storyline involving a young girl who is homeless while pregnant.”
Denise, 64, became a household name in the 90s playing Denise Osbourne, and had roles in Queer As Folk and Emmerdale.
