THE Government has been accused of using taxpayers’ money to help fund “state homophobic policing of the World Cup”.

Lib Dem peer Lord Scriven told the House of Lords the Foreign Office’s Gulf Strategy Fund has helped finance policing of the World Cup in Qatar.
