Chris a fantasy dweeb
HOLLYWOOD heartthrob Chris Hemsworth was a “nerd” as a youngster – and ditched partying to watch The Lord of the Rings.
The actor, best known for playing Thor in the hit Marvel films, avoided going out with his friends to immerse himself in fantasy movies, such as Star Wars.
Chris, 39, who grew up in Australia, said: “When my mates were going out on the weekends through high school, I would just be watching movies.
“Not because I wanted to be an actor – but because I wanted to live in Middle Earth or I wanted to be in Star Wars.”
