County whines

-

WHAT’S going on in Cornwall?

First we learned that its tourism chief Malcolm Bell has complained that “bloody tourists” during the pandemic “didn’t want to be there” and would rather have been abroad.

Then we’re told locals are up in arms because Greggs wants to open a store in the county due to their worries about Cornish pasty shops.

Personally, I’ve always had a warm welcome from local people whenever I’ve visited Cornwall – so I hope all this negativity doesn’t backfire!
