Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy make a great double-act in Bridesmaids’ director Paul Feig’s uproarious take on the buddy cop comedy. Bullock is the hard-working by-the-books FBI agent who is paired with McCarthy’s slobby cop to catch a drug baron. There are big laughs involving dancing and a very clumsy chase through the streets of Boston. ACTION POINT ★★★ (2018) Film4, 2.20am This amusing true story is set in a dilapidated US amusement park in the late 70s, a care-free era when health & safety regulations didn’t run to drunken bears in petting zoos. Johnny Knoxville is the reckless owner trying to see off a rival outfit while bonding with his estranged teenage daughter (Eleanor Worthington-Cox). Also starring Chris Pontius.
