ROBBIE Savage has been mocked for claiming Iran are easy to beat before his fellow Welshmen lost 2-0.

Savage, 48, said: “Macclesfield [the nonleague team he owns] would beat Iran.”

But a fan said: “Just wondering if Iran are still the worst in the competition.”
