A cyber guard for King
KING Charles is hiring a £50,000-a-year computer expert to protect the Royal Family from cyber attacks.
And the successful candidate will be able to work from home if they want. The network and telecoms engineer will oversee more than a thousand devices within the Royal Household, which are used by 1,800 staff.
Once in post, they will install “intrusion detection solutions” including “nextgeneration firewalls” to fend off cyber attacks.
The job description reads: “It’s enabling modern technology to support progress, whilst surrounded by the past.
“It’s providing the insight and expertise that takes the entire Household forward.”
