He’s all work and no play

MY electrician partner works seven days a week. As well as his Monday to Friday job he takes on private work at weekends.

I have to conclude he doesn’t like being around me. I’d like to organise romantic trips away, but he’s not interested. Should I be miffed or flattered that he’s such a good provider?

JANE SAYS: Your partner clearly has a strong work ethic. Is he scared of unexpected household bills or debt? Talk to him about a better work/life balance because you have needs too.
