Nando’s ‘bounce’

NANDO’S has more than halved its losses and reported a “significant bounceback” in customer demand over the past year.

The chicken giant, which has 898 restaurants in 21 countries, said revenues had recovered to “near prepandemic” levels.

But chief executive Rob Papps said he expected 2023 to be “another volatile year as a result of the macroeconomic environment”.
