Downpour hell as rivers burst

■ PARTS of Britain were ravaged by fresh floods yesterday.

The A1101 was flanked by submerged fields in Norfolk after downpours caused the Delph and New Bedford rivers to burst their banks.

■ The Delph also caused flooding in Sutton, Cambs, left.

In Dorset, the Frome burst its banks, above left, near Dorchester.

And rain caused tough conditions on the M25 at Swanley, Kent, right.
