Ellie ‘so safe’ at games
A TEEN campaigning to improve the match experience for female fans said she had “never felt safer” than at the World Cup in Qatar.
England fan Ellie Molloson jetted out with dad Adam. The 19-year-old from Nottingham said: “I’ve got to say coming here has been a real shock to my system.
“I had all these preconceived notions about what I would encounter, particularly in light of the country’s record on the rights of women and how they are treated.
“But the reality has been nothing like that.
She added: “I’ve not experienced any of the harassment I have experienced in England.
“There have been catcalls, wolf whistles sexism of any kind.” no or
