Switch jobs to cut bills
CHANGING the way household jobs are done can save on energy bills.
Airing clothes rather than using the tumble dryer could save around £50.83 a year but only a third (36%) do this.
And only a third (31%) refuse to turn on the dishwasher unless it is full, despite it costing on average £112 a year.
Catherine Fowler, of EDF which did the study, said: “The way we go about our chores can have a large impact on bills, so thinking of ways to cut back or swap for more energy-efficient routines can be a great first step.”
