Panic on ice ride

TWO people were taken to hospital after they reportedly “came off” a Winter Wonderland ride.

Several were said to have fallen from the Ice Skater ride in Cardiff on Saturday evening.

Seren McCallum-Weller, 13, said she suddenly heard “a massive bang” and saw one woman on the floor and two more thrown on to railings.

A spokesman for Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland said: “Safety is always a priority for us and a full investigation is taking place.”
