Children land slip tragedy
RESCUERS have battled for a second day in search of people feared dead in a landslide.
One body was recovered and around a dozen people, including children, were missing yesterday, trapped under 20ft of mud and debris.
Bulldozers were being used in Casamicciola on the Italian island of Ischia.
The landslide before dawn on Saturday was triggered by heavy rainfall.
Giacomo Pascale, the mayor of nearby Lacco Ameno, said: “We are continuing the search with our hearts broken, because among the missing are also minors.”
