DWAYNE “The Rock” Johnson had to fight for Henry Cavill to reprise his role as Superman.

The actor, 50, who stars as Black Adam in the blockbuster DC movie, was forced into action as Warner Bros “inexplicably and inexcusably” did not want Brit Henry, 39, back.

In a video posted to Twitter, he said: “There was no viable logical way that you can attempt to build out the DC Universe without the greatest superhero of all time.

“Of course, that is Superman and Henry Cavill.”
