BOXING TRAINER MURDER ARREST
DETECTIVES investigating the murder of a boxing trainer who worked with Ian Wright have made an arrest.
Reece Newcombe, 31, a new dad, was stabbed with a piece of glass in a fight on Richmond Bridge in southwest London on Saturday.
A 32-year-old man went to a police station in west London on Monday afternoon and was arrested on suspicion of murder. Detectives are now appealing for mobile phone footage of the incident from witnesses.
Tributes have been paid to Mr Newcombe, who worked as a boxing trainer with celebs including the former footballer.
His family said online they are “truly heartbroken”.
