Jill World Cup blackout blues

- ■ by ED GLEAVE

JILL Scott admits missing key World Cup matches was one of the toughest parts of being on I’m A Celebrity.

The football champ, 35, told Good Morning Britain: “I have missed the World Cup games so much. Me and Owen were begging for the scores.”

After one challenge, the campmates were given some World Cup results. Jill said: “That was one of the best days in the jungle.”

ITV bosses revealed last night Jill won more than double the number of votes received for Matt Hancock in the finale.

The MP was axed with 21.7%, while Owen Warner claimed 31% and Jill received 47.3%.

In the final round of voting, Jill won with 57.7% to Owen’s 42.3%.

Asked yesterday whether she had missed fiancé Shelly Unitt or the World Cup most, Jill said: “Don’t get me into trouble. It’s got to be Shelly.”
