JUNGLE ROMP GOES ON FOR LOVED-UP MP

- BY MARK JEFFERIES Showbiz Editor news@dailystar.co.uk

AWOL MP Matt “Coco” Hancock refused to say when he would be back at work as he spent his first day out of the jungle partying.

The shamed ex-health secretary couldn’t keep his hands off girlfriend Gina Coladangelo after coming third in I’m A Celebrity.

The pair attended a drinks reception before joining the other contestants for a dinner party at a posh restaurant on Australia’s Gold Coast. Asked when he would be back at work, Coco ducked the question and headed back to his hotel room.

It came as Business Secretary Grant Shapps became the latest MP to slam Coco for taking part in the show. He said: “I do think that his true position should have been in Parliament this last few weeks.”

Yesterday, new Queen of the Jungle Jill Scott and runner-up Owen Warner appeared on ITV’s Good Morning Britain show.

But Coco was missing amid rumours he had bagged a big-money interview – and pals claimed he was heading away from politics.

Last night his spokesman said he had “no intention of standing down or stepping away from politics”, and denied he’d been in contact with a PR guru.
