★ NEXT year will see the release of Metallica’s first album in eight years. The band confirmed 12th studio LP, 72 Seasons, will land on April 14 via their own Blackened Recordings.

Singer James Hetfield said: “72 seasons. The first 18 years of our lives that form our true or false selves. The concept that we were told ‘who we are’ by our parents. A possible pigeonholing around what kind of personality we are.

★ “The most interesting part of this is the study of those core beliefs and how it affects our perception of the world today. Much of our adult experience is reenactment or reaction to these childhood experiences. Prisoners of childhood or breaking free of those bonds.”

Produced by Greg Fidelman with Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, the 12 tracks clock in at 77 minutes.

★ WILL the final episode of Celebrity Juice be “proper bo”?

Leigh Francis aka

Keith Lemon would love the man he mocked so much to celebrate the end of his long-running show.

★ He revealed: “We will just have a party. Hopefully we can get Craig David

down to do the DJ-ing but he will probably say no.

“I mean, I am 50 next year. I can’t be doing Juice when you are 50. You have got to grow up, haven’t you?”

BALD is beautiful according to Doja Cat.

Ever since she shaved her hair, the rapper has felt special.

She told Dazed magazine: “I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life. I felt beautiful when I had long hair. I definitely felt like a hot girl then, but I always do.

“There’s something so exhilarating about change. It showed me a different side of myself. I feel so new, fresh and sexy.

“I also feel better without make-up: having this bare head and so little make-up is a fun experience. It’s new, and I love it.”

Dazed is out Thursday.

★ THREE acts have been shortlisted for the prestigious 2023 BRITs Rising Star award. The R&B trio

FLO, songstress

Cat Burns and junglist Nia Archives are hoping to follow in the footsteps of

Adele, Sam Smith and Sam Fender.

★ I’ve been championing FLO, above, all year and the girls said: “We all grew up watching the BRITs with our mums, and have been inspired by the girl groups and powerful female artists who have performed on that stage.

“We’re grateful to everyone who has believed in our vision so far and can’t wait to share more music with the world. We hope this is the first of many BRIT nominations.”

★ ANYTHING Matt Hancock can do, Tom Zanetti can do better.

The DJ told me: “I would be great in the Jungle doing all the challenges. I’d do really well. I’d love to have a chance to do that one year.”

★ Last year Tom starred in Celebs Go Dating and it’s given him the telly buzz: “It was a different experience for me. I loved meeting new people. Then I came out and I had a great reception. A lot of people have seen a real side to me now, rather than stupid videos on Instagram.

“So I’d like to do a show again – not a dating one.”
