Web of ‘doom’ for Joe
STRICTLY star Joe Sugg has opened up about his struggles with phone addiction – which saw him “doomscrolling” for 10 hours a day.
The YouTuber, 31, who appeared on the dance show in 2018, said he got stuck in a cycle of chasing a “dopamine hit” from social media.
Joe told StompCast podcast: “It was bad – I’d wake up in the morning and the first thing I would do is scroll through my phone.
“I’d go through Instagram, went through everything, go onto Twitter, go through that, go on to YouTube, and then back to Instagram again.”
