Rhinos need to find some fire to tame Dragons
WITH all Betfred Super League games now being televised, every weekend is serving up a real feast.
This weekend’s action kicks off at 3pm today when Catalans visit Leeds.
Dragons are two from two, having seen off a spirited Warrington in France before cruising past London.
And last season’s beaten Grand Finalists can prove that they will once again be a silverware threat with a strong performance against Rhinos in a ‘pick ’em’ match (10-11 the pair).
Leeds have made some eye-catching signings but so far only scraped past Salford on the opening day before losing to Hull KR.
Victory against Catalans would be a statement win as they look to answer the questions still lingering from a disappointing 2023.
At 5.30pm, BBC iPlayer and Red Button viewers can see unbeaten Hull KR take on Salford.
And Rovers coach Willie Peters will hope his side can fire another warning shot in the direction of the established play-off clubs with another win at Salford
Community Stadium, for which they are 4-9.
The Red Devils (15-8) got themselves off the mark with a win at Castleford and will be boosted by the availability of new Somoan signing David Nofoaluma (right).
The weekend is rounded off by two sides looking for their first wins.
London were labelled as the competition whipping boys in pre-season and have done little to shrug that reputation off.
But all the pressure will be on hosts Hull FC, who are desperate to put their derby defeat and loss at Warrington behind them.
Hull are 2-9 to triumph, while Broncos are 7-2.
