❑ The Miners Strike was for JOBS AND COMMUNITIES not money but our coal industry was destroyed by a vindictive PM who shut down a whole industry and one of Britains major energy suppliers all for REVENGE. I remember a laboratory experimenting with coal to burn near zero emissions but of course that wasn’t needed when Thatcher and her American Co conspirator Ian McGregor had finished their attack on the industry. We now import coal from other countries and they still use coal as a major use as well. We former miners and their families were the salt of the earth and were castigated for trying to protect our jobs communities and Britains power provider. TOD

❑ So, after I was nearly hit and knocked down by a delivery guy on an electric bike on a pedestrian crossing the cyclist not stopping is it time the Royal prevention of accidents brought back the Cycling Proficiency Test and at the end cyclists issued with a licence to carry at all times with ID so if they are injured or cause an accident they can be identified and prosecuted if necessary.
