You can’t Vault the new Galaxy

CROOK-PROOF BLOWERS

-

SAMSUNG is back with a pair of budget blowers that finally get a flagship upgrade.

The all-new Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G now include something called Samsung Knox Vault. This robust safety function helps protect them from vicious malware along with keeping personal files and data away from prying eyes.

The service, which has never been available on the A-Series before, makes these new phones far tougher for cyber crooks to crack.

To help users feel even safer, Samsung has also added its Auto Blocker. This opt-in package can stop dodgy app installations and instantly scan for potentially datastealing bugs.

Of course, it’s not just about security with the A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G both getting Super AMOLED displays with Vision Booster technology to increase the brightness.

There are also huge batteries under the shell, with Samsung promising two days of charge life.

Triple lens cameras are placed on the rear case, with the more premium A55 5G now able to shoot better images when the sun goes down thanks to its enhanced Nightography. Users are treated to blur-free images with optical image stabilisation and video digital image stabilisation on both of the devices.

To increase longevity, there are four years of Android upgrades – that’s good, but can’t quite match the Galaxy S24 which now gets seven years of updates.

The Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G will come in four shades including Awesome Ice Blue, Awesome Lemon, Awesome Lilac and Awesome Navy. They will be available from Wednesday with prices starting from £339.
