Bring The Drama 9pm, BBC Two

Over the past five weeks we’ve seen the eight aspiring actors test out their skills on the sets of EastEnders, Silent Witness, Peaky Blinders, Downton Abbey and Casualty.

Now it’s the moment of truth for Delasi Zikpi, George Heron, Janice Sampson, Jordan Skelly, Lizzie Alabi, Rehanna Bernard, Chris Flynn and Luca Gittens, with only three of them going through to the final showcase.

For the selected trio, their biggest challenge awaits – to devise and star in their own screen monologue. Talking Heads and Line Of Duty star Rochenda Sandall coaches them for their performanc­e, while Bill Bailey and Kelly Valentine Hendry also offer support.

Of course, the industry audience have high expectatio­ns, so will any of the actors do enough to secure a deal with a top agent?

Britain is a nation of coffeelove­rs, and we spend £4billion a year on the drink. In tonight’s programme, Gaby Roslin and Ortis Deley look at ways customers can get that barista experience on a budget. Plus, three chefs check out a new set of knives, Jon Bentley puts hiking shoes to the test, and Harry Wallop finds out how to save on car leasing.

Air Fryers: Do You Have The Right One? 8pm, Channel 5

Another week, another Channel 5 programme about air fryers. This particular one starts with a look at how these ‘outta space’ gadgets have gripped the nation. Then, Alexis Conran is joined by cook and author Clare Andrews to answer an array of air fryer dilemmas including “how do I get started?” and “how can I stop it beeping?”.

21 Bridges 10pm, BBC Three

Released a year before his death in 2020, this crime thriller stars Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman as Andre Davis, an NYPD detective hunting a pair of cop-killers (Taylor Kitsch and Stephan James). Davis calls for a blockade of all 21 of Manhattan’s river crossings to prevent the criminals from skipping town, but in doing so uncovers a murky conspiracy.
